On October 21st, 2011 the West Virginia Offices of the Insurance Commissioner (WVOIC) conducted a day-long training program for Independent Medical Examiners. The program focused on the issues of Permanent Partial Disability, use of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (4th edition) and the interface of CSR 85-20 limits on Permanent Partial Disability. Speakers at the program included Dr. Mohammed Ranavaya, Dr. Jack Kinder, Dr. Dominique Gaziano, Dr. Rob Gerbo and Dr. Robert Walker.

This program was provided as an educational outreach to the Independent Medical Examiners throughout the state . The WVOIC does not credential or offer endorsement of any specific examiners but a list of participating physicians can be found by clicking the link below.
