The West Virginia state agencies, boards and commissions have been combined under one workers' compensation policy covering all state employees. Specific policy information is provided below.

Headlines and Notices

BrickStreet Insurance has been renamed to Encova Insurance Company. You may see the names used interchangeably. No changes have been made to the SAWC policy, claims adjusters or other essential staff due to this name change. The SAWC program will continue to receive the same great service we have come to expect from Encova Insurance.

Claims Reporting: For claims with a date of injury ON or AFTER July 1, 2017, please report those claims to Encova Insurance through Encova Edge (StreetConnect) or using the claims forms below.

► To report a claim to Encova, you may use their online claim reporting system, Encova Edge (StreetConnect), or you may email ClaimsIntake@encova.com.

► After a claim has been filed and assigned a claim number by Encova, you may email all supplemental claims documents to SAWC@encova.com. Please notify the West Virginia Offices of the Insurance Commissioner immediately if your agency has a location change or if agency contact information needs updated.

All injuries should be reported to Encova Insurance within 24 hours of the injury but no later than 5 days.

Safety Inspections are now being conducted by Encova Insurance. Each agency will be required to participate in a safety inspection.
