System For Electronic Rate And Form Filing (SERFF)
In an effort to make records more accessible to the public, the Commission is pleased to offer two methods of electronically accessing insurance company filings. Filings are available electronically upon the completion of the Rates and Forms Division’s review.
Insurance company filing are now available to the public through the SERFF Filing Access (SFA) website. Through the SFA, you can view filing conveniently from your home, office or anywhere you have access to a computer. There is no charge associated with this method.
Public Information Kiosk Filings can also be reviewed by using the computer kiosk located at the Commission’s Office, 900 Pennsylvania Avenue in Charleston, WV. Due to the limited availability of access via this single terminal, reservations are recommended and may be made up to 30 days in advance by calling (304) 558-2094.
Filings may be viewed and/or copied to a CD. The price for copying to a CD is $5.00 per filing plus a fee of $5.00 per CD. For example, if 3 filings are burned to a CD, the total fee is $20.00.
The Rates and Forms staff is available from 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. Our office is located in the West Virginia Lottery Building, 900 Pennsylvania Avenue, Room 717, Charleston, WV (parking is available in front of the building).
