Is the Office of Judges a separate entity from the insurance carrier or self-insured employer? In other words, when I file a protest letter in an appeal of a medical treatment decision my case manager has made, is this protest/appeal going before a totally different group of people to be determined? Or is the Office of Judges simply a different department in the Division of Worker's Compensation?

A protest is pending before you. By subsequent ruling of the claim administrator, the issue has been resolved. Do I need to do anything further with your Office?
