| Question: |
After a Time Frame is up and no one has protested a claim. A Decision is ordered. How long will it take to hear the decision? |
| Answer: |
The answer depends upon several factors, including the complexity of the issue in protest. After the Time Frame has expired, we then review the claim file to make sure that there are no requests for more time pending before us. The review takes about four to six weeks. We then issue an "Order Submitting Protest At Expiration Of Time Frame" and assign the protest to a judge for review. Our goal is to issue a written decision within 90 days of the "Order Submitting Protest". |
