| Question: |
When can I expect a decision in my claim? |
| Answer: |
Once an Order Submitting Protest is issued, that protest will be referred to an adjudicator for a decision. After that, the speed with which a decision is issued depends upon various factors, including the complexity of the case (for example, permanent total disability cases are complex and take longer to decide) and the caseload of the adjudicator. Generally, most decisions are issued within 90 days of the Order Submitting Protest. |
