Question: What should I do if I am unable to attend a hearing?
Answer: Make a written request to the Office of Judges for continuance of the hearing. The request should be received by the Office of Judges 10 days before the date of the hearing, and should set forth an explanation of your inability to attend the hearing. Copies should be sent to all other parties involved in litigating the claim. Please note that the Office of Judges will not reschedule the hearing unless specifically requested to do so.
