| Question: |
Will the hearing scheduled in my claim be held in Charleston? |
| Answer: |
Not necessarily. The Office of Judges holds hearings at 21 different venues throughout the state. Generally, hearings are scheduled at the venue closest to the claimant’s home. If the purpose of the hearing is for the testimony of another witness (such as a physician who examined the claimant), the office will attempt to set the hearing at a location convenient for that witness. |
