Only you can answer that question. Claimants, as well as sole proprietors and partners of partnerships are not required to have an attorney. If you wish to explore this option, many attorneys provide free initial consultations. Corporate employers, however, must be represented by legal counsel, pursuant to the rulings of the W.Va.
